Frontier Pioneers Hacienda began as a humble dream in 2022, when Robert and Michelle Everhart set out on a new chapter in Texas after Robert's service as a Navy Corpsman. While Michelle continued her work as a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner, Robert took on the role of stay-at-home dad—and chicken dad! They began raising their children around farm animals so they can learn the basics of caring for land and livestock.
What started as a small effort to provide farm-fresh eggs for their own family quickly turned into something more. Before long, the Everharts found themselves with an abundance of eggs, which they joyfully shared with their friends and neighbors. The community’s support and enthusiasm sparked the official beginning of Frontier Pioneers Hacienda.
From their family farm in Elm Mott, Robert and Michelle now offer high-quality, farm-fresh eggs and chicks to the greater Waco area. Whether you're visiting their cozy farm and cottage store, stopping by their local partners in Waco and Axtell, or getting a delivery right to your door, you're supporting a family-run business that’s passionate about wholesome, sustainable living.
